IOWA CITY, Iowa -- An Iowa City man is accused of allowing his juvenile son and his friends to smoke marijuana in his home.

According to Iowa City police criminal complaints, officers served a search warrant at 2300 Hollywood Blvd. - the home of 35-year-old Daryl A. Goolsby - at 11 a.m. Sunday. Police said they found marijuana, blunts, dozens of baggies containing marijuana residue and pipes inside Goolsby's bedroom and common areas of the residence, including the garage and living room.

Goolsby allegedly admitted to knowing about the marijuana and allowing his son and friends to smoke marijuana at the residence. Goolsby was convicted of possession of a controlled substance for the second time in 2009, police said.

He now faces charges of possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent offense and keeping a drug house. Both offenses are aggravated misdemeanors.
