IOWA CITY, Iowa -- An Iowa City man is accused of taking a woman against her will to his apartment and sexually abusing her.

According to Iowa City police criminal complaints, on July 4, 2013, 27-year-old Antonio N. Fluker and his friend tried to convince a woman to go to his apartment with them. When the woman refused, Fluker picked up the woman and carried her to his apartment, police said.

Police said Fluker forced the woman to lie face down on his bed.
Despite her struggles, Fluker tried to force the woman's pants off. He was eventually able to get his hand down her pants and touch her privates, police said.

Police said the woman was able to get away and run back to her apartment. She suffered numerous bruises in the struggle, including one in the shape of a hand print, police said. The attempted sexual assault was witnessed by Fluker's friend, police said. Fluker admitted to the woman being in his apartment, but denied the attempted abuse, according to police.

Fluker has been arrested and faces charges of third-degree sexual abuse and false imprisonment.
