Former Police Officer Accused of Robberies

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A former Iowa police officer is accused in a string of robberies along Colorado's Front Range and in Colorado Springs over the past year.
Scott Brasselero, formerly of Sioux City, Iowa, is charged with two robberies in Colorado Springs. One was at the First Bank and the second was at a pharmacy inside a Safeway grocery store.
Brasselero is also accused of crimes in Castle Rock, Arapahoe County and Pueblo.
According to KKTV-TV, most of the robberies were sporadic over a 13-month period.
