Five Men Sentenced to Combined 43 Years in Prison for Child Porn

DES MOINES, Iowa - Five Iowa men accused of possessing child pornography in separate cases have been sentenced to a collective 43 years in prison, the Department of Justice announced Wednesday.

According to the Department of Justice, the five men convicted in an investigation into the trading of child pornography pictures and videos on peer-to-peer file-sharing networks are:

Francisco Zayas, of Marshalltown, sentenced to 240 months.

Monroe Wardlow, of Grinnell, sentenced to 96 months.

Enrique Guzman, of Osceola, sentenced to 80 months.

William Trimble, Jr., of Albia, sentenced to 60 months.

Michael Hanold, of Creston, sentenced to 48 months.

After serving their prison terms, the men will be required to undergo at least five years of supervised release and register as sex offenders. The investigation was speared headed by Homeland Security and assisted by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and Albia, Creston, Grinnell, Marshalltown and Osceola police departments.
