Des Moines Man Accused Of Harassing 10-Year-Old Girl At Park
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A Des Moines man has been accused of harassing a 10-year-old girl at a park.
Des Moines police say 20-year-old Edward Eugene Lincoln approached the young girl Thursday and told her he wanted to have sex with her but she was too young.
Lincoln is accused of following the girl as she walked away. A police report says Lincoln did not touch the girl.
The girl, whose parents reported the incident, told police she had seen Lincoln around the park and at an elementary school before and after class.
The Des Moines Register reports Lincoln has been charged with third-degree harassment. He remains at the Polk County Jail on a $300 bond. Online records do not list an attorney.
