Credit Card Making Machine, Drugs Found During Interstate 80 Traffic Stop

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Police said they found a credit card making machine, hundreds of credit cards and marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 during a traffic stop on Sunday.

According to criminal complaints, police pulled over a car for speeding at 10:21 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 80 at the 232 mile marker. Police said they could smell an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle and found partially smoked joints, as well as a small amount of marijuana in a grinder, inside the vehicle. Also located inside the vehicle was a container that originally held medical marijuana from California, police said.

In addition to the drugs, police said they located a credit card making machine, hundreds of credit cards and a barcode reader in the vehicle. The United States Secret Service is now assisting in the investigation.

Four subjects in the car were arrested and have been charged with possession of a controlled substance:

- Jarrien C. Jones, 24, of Los Angeles
- Adesina M. Benton, 30, of Richton Park, Ill.
- Eliberta J. Martinez-Lazo, 23, no address listed
- Justin D. Jones, 23, of Chicago, Ill.
