WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) - A state license has been suspended for a marital and family counselor in southeast Iowa who's been charged with sexual exploitation.

The Des Moines Register says documents released by the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science say Scott Bair told a client that her therapy included hugs and kisses from him.

The board says Bair and the woman had sexual contact several times last August and September. A friend of the woman grew suspicious and shared his concerns with a West Burlington counseling center where Bair worked.

Bair was arrested Dec. 27 and has since posted bond. His arraignment on the felony charge is scheduled for Feb. 24. He declined to comment on Thursday.
