Dozens in FEMA Housing Despite nearing End Date

By Daren Sukhram

CEDAR RAPIDS - With a little more than a month before they have to be out, FEMA says dozens of flood victims are still living in trailers.

As of this week, FEMA says 124 families are still living in temporary trailers across Iowa.

At the height of flood recovery last year, 564 families were staying in the temporary housing.

But, that program ends November 27th.

That means those families in trainers must move out by then.
