Theatre Cedar Rapids Rebuilding Continues

CEDAR RAPIDS - Construction crews are back at work inside Theatre Cedar Rapids.

TV9 went inside the flood damaged downtown building Wednesday for a first-hand look at the progress.

Theatre Cedar Rapids is still dealing with FEMA on some of the historical details of the renovation, but FEMA gave the green light to continue work.

"For all intensive purposes, our project is a go. We are working downtown and very excited. A little bit ahead of the revised schedule we put together," said managing director Casey Prince.

TCR plans to hold a grand reopening on February 26th with "The Producers."
