Bandana’s BBQ Coming to CoralvilleBy Dave DeWitte, Reporter
CORALVILLE, Iowa - Bandana’s Bar-B-Q, a regional restaurant chain specializing in southern smoked barbecue, has acquired property in Coralville.
The restaurant chain recently acquired property at 807 First Ave., Coralville, according to Van Miller and Scott Byers of NAI Iowa Realty Commercial, who represented Bandana’s in the transaction. Bandana’s is expected to open in mid-September after the building is remodeled, according to Miller and Byers. Based in Chesterfield, Mo., Bandana’s opened its first restaurant in 1996. It now has locations in five Midwestern states, featuring a menu focused on barbecue with side dishes such as fried corn on the cob, cole slaw and Brunswick stew. The future Bandana’s location was formerly operated as The Edge Restaurant and Tavern. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. BandanasBBQ.com |
