DUBUQUE - Dozens of employees at Eagle Window and Door in Dubuque are out of a job.

On Wednesday managers informed the staff of the cuts.

Managers blames a downturn in sales in the housing industry. The cuts in the production line were based on seniority. However, several office jobs were simply eliminated.

Company President Dave Beeken says the cuts eliminated ten percent of the total workforce there, but wouldn't comment on the total number of cuts.
