Kirkwood Hosts Job Fair

CEDAR RAPIDS - Despite some recent layoffs, Kirkwood Community College says job prospects are good at dozens of corridor companies.

Everyone is invited to a career fair Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It's on the third floor of Iowa Hall at Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids.

There are about 60 companies, including Mercy Medical Center, Heartland Express, and AEGON that are planning to attend.
