Two Injured in Cedar Rapids Crash
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Cedar Rapids Saturday afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 151 and Wright Brothers Boulevard around 3:45 p.m. Two cars were traveling on Highway 151 when they collided.
Officials say 31-year-old John Morris of Marengo failed to stop on the highway and ran into a car driven by 71-year-old Rose Pudil of Swisher.
Both Morris and Pudil were taken to Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids with injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol is still investigating the crash.
