Taxi Driver Robbed at Gunpoint

IOWA CITY, Iowa- A taxi driver in Iowa City reported that he was robbed at gunpoint at 2437 Petsel Place just before 11:00 last night.

The victim described the suspects as two black males wearing dark clothing. The two men allegedly stole cash from the cab driver and fled the scene on foot, going toward the Pheasant Ridge Apartments.

Officers with the Iowa City Police Department responded to the scene of the robbery and tried to locate the suspsects, but say the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information o the whereabouts of these suspects is asked to call Iowa City Area Crime Stoppers.
