WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — The 8-week-old boxer puppy Zeus has been found not far from the crash site near Waterloo where he went missing.
The pup had been missing since a traffic accident last weekend on U.S. Highway 218.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier is reporting that Zeus was found Wednesday evening in the yard of a home near the accident site.
Zeus had been sitting next to his owner, Chad Bartles, when Bartles' truck collided with a semitrailer on Saturday.
Bartles was taken to a Waterloo hospital. Zeus was nowhere to be found.
