Waterloo Woman Facing Charges After Stabbing
WATERLOO, Iowa - A Waterloo woman turned herself in Tuesday after a stabbing over the weekend.
Police said Timiko Nixon, 39, went to the Black Hawk County jail around 11 p.m. Tuesday. She faces a willful injury causing serious injury charge. Police said Nixon stabbed Britny Anderson, 34, at a home at 429 Saxon St. in Waterloo with a pocket knife Saturday at 10:20 p.m. Anderson was taken to Allen Hospital for what were initially described as non life-threatening injuries.
