Woman Hospitalized Following Linn County Crash
SPRINGVILLE, Iowa - Two vehicles collided Monday afternoon in Cedar Rapids. A woman in a Pontiac Grand Am was found in her vehicle on it's top in the ditch on Highway 151.
Emily Miller, 23, was extracted from her vehicle by emergency responders and flown to the University of Iowa Hospital. Her injuries did not appear to be life threatening, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office. Mark Vislisel, 48, the driver of a Ford truck was found sitting across the stop sign intersection. Vislisel refused medical treatment. He was cited for failing to yield upon entering a through highway. The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff's Office. Most Popular |
