CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Two people were hurt in a rollover crash early Thursday morning near Bertram, officials said.
Authorities responded around 3:19 a.m. to a one-vehicle accident on Highway 30 near Vislisel Road, where they determined 32-year-old Kendra N. Novak of Mount Vernon lost control of the car, causing it to leave the roadway, enter the median and roll.
Novak and the only other passenger, 38-year-old Marc J. James of Lisbon, were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, officials said. Both were wearing seat belts.
The accident remains under investigation.
