Tipton Man Plead Guilty to Helping Poach Deer
TIPTON, Iowa - Months after law enforcement officers flew over Cedar County and spotted people near piles of corn, alfalfa and minerals, a Tipton hunting store owner has pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting his clients to illegally hunt deer.
The Department of Natural Resources said Andy Wulf, who owns Whitetail Ridge Outfitter, will pay fines totaling about $400 for his role in aiding three men to illegally hunt deer.
Officers said the case began with a call to the "turn in Poachers" hotline back in January, which eventually led to the flyover and the discovery.
