CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Police confirm they are investigating two shootings on the city's west side.

Police say one shooting happened near Wiley Boulevard SW and 22nd Avenue SW around 9:30 Saturday night. They say officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound at the Guppy on the Go at the corner of Edgewood Road and Johnson Avenue NW. Police say he may have driven himself there from the site of the shooting. He was then taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say a second shooting occurred on the 4000 block of 21st Avenue SW. A woman in an apartment at 4008 21st Avenue SW suffered minor injuries. Neighbors tell KCRG they heard at least 6 shots ring out around 11:00 P.M. on Saturday night.

"I was kind of nervous about it because this is about the 3rd or 4th time this has happened since I've lived in this neighborhood. It does happen pretty frequently," said Cedar Rapids resident Allison See.

At this point, police do not know if the shootings are connected. Officials do not have any suspects in custody. Both shootings are under investigation.
