Police say Iowa Woman Threw Cellphone at Daughter
IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - An Iowa City woman is facing charges because police say she injured her teen daughter by throwing a cellphone at her head.
The Iowa City Press-Citizen reports the 34-year-old woman was arrested Friday in connection with the Dec. 11 incident.
A police complaint says the woman took her 13-year-old daughter's phone during an argument and then became upset when the girl wouldn't reveal her password.
Police say the woman threw the phone at her daughter from about four feet away and caused a cut when it hit her head.
The woman has been charged with child endangerment.
