IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Police said they found nearly a pound of marijuana at an Iowa City residence Tuesday afternoon.

Members of the Johnson County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 2401 Whispering Meadow Dr. at 1 p.m. Tuesday. While searching the residence, police said they found 400 grams -- or approximately .9 pounds -- of marijuana in the garage and bedroom of the residence.

Police said the marijuana belonged to 36-year-old Antoine M. Clemons, no address listed. Multiple digital scales were also found in the residence, police said.

Clemons faces one count of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, a class D felony.
