RIVERSIDE, Iowa - Two vehicles collided Friday night at about 9:45 p.m. resulting in one fatality and two more injuries.
Tamara McCormick, 53, was a passenger in one of the vehicles and died as a result of the crash.
Floyd Hiller, 59, was traveling westbound on Highway 22 in a Chevrolet Impala. Hiller attempted to make a left hand turn, but put himself directly in the path of a Ford dump truck headed east.
The driver of the dump truck, Roger Escher, 66, hit Hiller on the passenger side of his vehicle.
There were two other passengers, along with McCormick and Hiller, in the Impala who suffered injuries and were transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals.
