Northwood Man Injured After Truck Hits Train

MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) — A northern Iowa man has been hospitalized after his pickup struck a train.

The Cerro Gordo County sheriff's department says the truck hit the train a little before 1 p.m. Monday at a crossing north of Mason City.

Twenty-four-year-old Tanner Lampman, of Northwood, was taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa for treatment.

The incident is being investigated.
