Marion Woman Robs Coralville Bank

CORALVILLE, Iowa - Police have arrested a Marion woman after they said she robbed the U.S. Bank in Coralville at gunpoint Friday morning.

Police said 34-year-old Jennifer Lee Redmond aimed a pistol and gave a note to the teller demanding money at 10:22 a.m. Friday. She got away with some cash.

Witnesses were able to give Coralville Police enough information about where Redmond ran to. They caught up to her in a white Toyota Sequoia without license plates a short time later.

Redmond is facing charges of one count of 1st degree robbery and one count of failure to display registration plate. She is currently in the Johnson County jail where she is awaiting her initial appearance.
