MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - A Mason City man is facing a long list of charges after stealing a truck and ramming into a house twice.

The Globe Gazette reports 21-year-old Zachary Kantaris was arrested early Saturday after committing a string of crimes.

Police Lt. Rich Jensen says Kantaris is charged with criminal mischief, theft, burglary, driving while intoxicated and driving on a suspended license.

Police say Kantaris broke into Key Wholesale and damaged several doors and windows before taking a laptop. Then he went to another business' warehouse and stole a pickup by driving through a security gate.

Then police say Kantaris intentionally crashed into a home twice before fleeing.

He was arrested around 3 a.m. Sunday just outside Mason City because someone who saw him ram the home followed the truck.
