DUBUQUE, Iowa - Voters in Dubuque and Jackson Counties heard from seven Iowa Statehouse candidates Tuesday night. The Dubuque League of Women Voters hosted a public forum that allowed residents to ask questions to the candidates.
The candidates discussed a wide range of topics, from roads to voter fraud.
"This is very good for the public because they can get a grasp of the position of the candidates," said Janet Durham, Dubuque League of Women Voters.
The League of Women Voters will host another public forum for the Dubuque County Offices on Tuesday, October 9th.
