Johnson County Searching for Work Release Escapee
JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa - The Johnson County Sheriff's Department and the Coralville Police are searching for a man who failed to return from his work release. 23-year-old Loel Howieson II was last seen on June 18th. He failed to return to the Coralville Hope House Work Release Facility after his employment ended Tuesday.
He is described as a white man with red hair and brown eyes. Howieson is 5'11" and weighs 172 pounds. He has several tattoos on his arms and legs, and has two scars on his right arm.
Howieson was convicted of Burglary First Degree in 2010 and received a 25 year sentence. He was transfered to work release in January 2013.
Anyone who knows where Howieson may be is asked to call the Coralville Police or the Johnson County Sheriff's Department.
