Helicopter Counting Geese Lands Hard Near Glidden; No One Hurt

GLIDDEN, Iowa (AP) — No one was injured when a helicopter being used to count geese went down near Glidden.

Des Moines television station KCCI reports the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Officials described the accident as a hard landing in a field. The aircraft sustained some damage.

The helicopter was carrying two people who were counting geese for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

Officials are investigating what caused the helicopter's problem.
