WEST BRANCH, Iowa - Family members say relieved doesn't begin to explain how they're feeling after police found newborn Kayden Powell alive Friday morning outside a convenience store in West Branch.

Kayden's great-grandmother says the family's prayers have been answered. She describes the period Kayden was missing as a nightmare.

Shirley Bennett was home Thursday morning along with Kayden's mom, dad and aunt when they discovered the newborn missing. But 30 hours later, police told the family Kayden was safe and healthy. Bennett says she's excited for his return.

"I can't wait. I'm going to snatch him, I don't care what she says. That's going to be my baby then!" said Bennett.

She says the entire family can now eat and sleep again.
