Fayette Man Facing Arson Charges

FAYETTE, Iowa - An 18-year-old Fayette man is facing arson charges after investigators say they tied him to grass, brush and trash can fires. Cody Cooley is also charged with reckless use of fire.

The Fayette County sheriff says the charges are for fires in West Union, Saint Lucas, Clermont and Wadena.

Cooley is also charged with arson in Delaware County.

He's in the Fayette County jail on $25,000 bond.
