Motorcyclist Injured Following Crash with Tractor

DYERSVILLE, Iowa - A man was airlifted for his injuries following a crash on Highway 20 involving a motorcycle Sunday afternoon.

Authorities responded to the scene near 330th Avenue in Dyersville at around 3:30 p.m. According to an Iowa State Patrol report, a 23 year old man from Antioch, Illinois was driving a motorcycle eastbound on Highway 20 when he struck a farm tractor.

The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to the hospital. The driver of the tractor was not hurt.

According to the Iowa Department of Transportation's Web site, the eastbound lanes of Highway 20 were closed for about 45 minutes.
