CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Emergency crews spent Tuesday evening on the scene of an SUV in the Cedar River.

It happened along Ellis Road, west of Edgewood Road. Linn County Sheriff’s Office closed off the road so tow trucks could pull the vehicle out of the river.

Our crew on the scene said the vehicle was pulled from the river at about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday. The road was re-opened around 9:15 p.m.

Linn County Sheriff's Office deputies say the SUV was stolen on April 23. No other details have been released at this time.
