DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) - An Iowa couple stopped traffic for their wedding at the base of the Fenelon Place Elevator in Dubuque.

Corin Metz and A.J. Cogan thought the top of the short, steep scenic railway was too small to hold all the friends and family they'd invited for their nuptials.

The couple worked with local merchants and the city of Dubuque in gaining permission to close Fourth Street at the base of the railway.

They succeeded, and so on Saturday afternoon, traffic stopped when the two united in matrimony.
