By Katie Wiedemann, Reporter
DUBUQUE, Iowa - A Dubuque man plans to keep running until he drops. Literally. Josh Miller,41, is raising money for the wellness program at Hillcrest Family Services in Dubuque. He's spending the weekend running on Asbury Road and Grandview Avenue.
As the rain beats down on an unseasonably cold May day. Only a fool would go for a run. Josh Miller is Dubuque's self-proclaimed running fool.
Miller said, "I would take this easily even over 80 degrees. "
Alone with his thoughts and his i-pod, Miller pounds the pavement. Mile after rain soaked mile.
Miller said, "the weather won't be the factor. My legs feel better than ever. But the concrete might be what will make Sunday look a little harder. "
Every 10 miles or so, he takes a quick break at Flora park where friends and fans greet him.
Hillcrest Family Services's Jihn Bellini said, "our kids need extra curricular activities that challenge them. So for that, this is a huge project for us. "
