Des Moines Register Announces RAGBRAI 2013 Route

DES MOINES, Iowa - Although it's still months away, organizers are are getting ready for the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa. On Saturday night, they announced the route.
RAGBRAI will start in Council Bluffs and end with the annual dipping of the tires in the Mississippi River. This year that will be in Fort Madison. Overnight stops include Harlan, Perry, Des Moines, Knoxville and Fairfield.
The 2013 route is the shortest of all 41 RAGBRAIs. Riders will put 406.6 miles under their tires.
