One Dead After Striking Concrete Bridge Pillar on I-380 Near Brandon

BRANDON, Iowa - One person is dead after a crash near mile marker 47 on Interstate 380 near Brandon, Friday afternoon.

Ezekiel Musselman, 22, of Ames was the driver of the vehicle, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to an Iowa State Patrol report, the car was traveling southbound on I-380 when it left the roadway, entered the west ditch and struck a concrete bridge pillar. Officials responded to the accident at about 3:30 p.m.

The accident remains under investigation.
