MARION, Iowa -- On Sept. 19, 30-year-old Scott A. Young had a little pot and was looking for a little affection.

He was willing to trade one for the other. Unfortunately for Young, the person he found to facilitate the deal was an undercover Marion police officer.

According to a Linn County criminal complaint, Young agreed to "purchase the services of another as a partner in a sex act" during a sting operation put on by the Marion Police Department. Authorities said Young agreed to pay for a sex act with marijuana.

Police said they found marijuana on Young when he was taken into custody. He was charged with prostitution and possession of marijuana.
