Company Begins Work on $1.8M Iowa Facility
DYERSVILLE, Iowa (AP) - A training and development company has broken ground on a $1.8 million distribution center in eastern Iowa.
Dardis, Inc. says the 25,000-square-foot facility in Dyersville should be completed by September. It's expected to create between 15 and 20 local jobs.
The Dubuque Telegraph Herald reports the center will help train participants of the Dardis Academy, a business education program for high school and college students.
President and CEO Greg Dardis says students will be trained to market and sell a variety of clothing apparel that will be stored and shipped from the Dyersville facility.
