Cedar Rapids Man Injured While Hunting
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – State officials said a Cedar Rapids man was injured Saturday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound while deer hunting in Marion County.
Charles T. Nolte, 37, was hit in the kneecap when his shotgun discharged while he was putting his gloves on shortly before 1 p.m.
Nolte was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
