DUBUQUE, Iowa - Cashew the tortoise has been located.

The National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium in Dubuque tells KCRG.com they found the 18 pound tortoise in an elevator.
The museum says someone apparently brought it back, put it into the elevator and then pushed the button.

On Wednesday we reported that museum officials were worried about the animal's safety. That's after someone stole the Leopard Tortoise from its cage. They say someone climbed over a four foot wall to snatch it.

Cashew is part of the museum's latest exhibit that features more than 60 turtle species.
