KALONA, Iowa - A car crashed through the front wall of a Kalona grocery store Tuesday morning.

Owners of JW's Foods say Washington County sheriff's deputies told them someone had stolen the car from a nearby car repair shop. Deputies said whoever took it put a weight on the accelerator and pointed the car at the grocery store's front doors. As it raced toward the store, the car veered off course and crashed right through a wall. Despite all that effort, the owners say it doesn't look like anyone got inside the store after the crash.

The store is open for business, and authorities are still looking for whoever did all this damage.
