IOWA CITY, Iowa - Jon Bon Jovi made it clear that he planned to vote for President Obama in the upcoming election, but didn't instruct the crowd to.
"Just vote," Bon Jovi told the crowd of a few thousand gathered in Hubbard Park in Iowa City on Friday.
The music legend played a handful of his biggest hits during an event put on by the Obama campaign. Prior to the performance a half-dozen speakers, including congressman Dave Loebsack, encouraged the crowd to vote democrat.
Many standing in-line told KCRG/The Gazette that they could not be persuaded by Bon Jovi to vote in either direction.
