KCRG-TV9's Katie Wiedemann was one of the few allowed into the flooded Linn County town of Palo during the Flood of 2008. Officials wanted to give their distressed citizens a peak at some of the flooded homes and businesses. Only authorized boats were allowed in after the entire town of Palo was evacuated in June of 2008.
