KCRG-TV9's Josh Hinkle reports that many of the house boats at Ellis Harbor were set free by the rising Cedar River. Many of them went down river, some tipping over, some sinking, and as many as 22 ending up stuck against a railroad bridge. One man tried to hire help to retrieve his house boat, only to be told by the City of Cedar Rapids that the danger was too high. Incredible footage of the house boats, pressed against the railroad bridge by the rushing, flooded Cedar River.
