Linn County Emergency Management wrapped up a meeting updating the public on what the county's next moved would be to help with flood relief efforts.

Jones County requested more sanbagging help for certain counties.

Water levels remained high and very dangerous for people to try and go into. People could still fish at Lake MacBride, but water travel was banned elsewhere.

Predictions of the crest was to be about a foot above than what it was in 1993.

Dave Franzman reported that 15,600 people were without power in Cedar Rapids. A large part of the news conference concerned water in Cedar Rapids. Many of the large local consumers of water closed operations. Cedar Rapids received assistance from Marion to pump 1.2 million gallons of water to Cedar Rapids.
