Dave Franzman takes a boat tour through flooded areas in Cedar Rapids. Franzman said the water was so high in places that he felt he needed to duck to avoid hitting traffic signals.
The water in many places was four to five feet deep. Franzman says it was difficult to maneuver the streets in a boat because of the parked cars and other objects underneath water.
People were calling in for rescues. Officials were not going door to door for the rescues.
The Cedar Rapids Central Fire Station was also underwater.
