Mandatory evacuation continued to expand because of the rising rivers. A map of the area showed areas where people were asked to move for their safety.

Josh Hinkle reports how difficult it was for some people to move out of certain areas even with boats.

Viola Gibson shelter became full and was not able to accept any more people.

Coralville Assistant Manager Ellen Habel tells citizens the city was preparing for more water and what actions the city is taking to help citizens.

Jones County Sheriff Mark Denniston says the levy near the Anamosa sewage treatment plant went out. He was unsure how high water would go in that area. Sewage was seeping into ball fields.

Justin Foss reports city of Cedar Rapids had enough sandbaggers to help sandbag city's well after an earlier request from the city.
