Emergency evacuations move to Johnson County.

Also, mandatory evacuations for Coralville from Edgewater Dr. to Shadow Ln. Mayor Jim Fossett declared emergency evacuations, because of the flooding of the Iowa City River.

The Cedar Substation took in water and Alliant turned off power in the downtown area to save it from further damage.

Cedar River at Waterloo flood stage at 12.0 ft.
Cedar River at Vinton flood stage at 15.0 ft.
Cedar River at Cedar Rapids flood stage at 12.0 ft.

Due to power outages in Cedar Rapids difficulty traveling to one side of the city to the other.
