Cedar Levels in Bremer County

BREMER COUNTY - Utilizing information released by the National Weather Service at 2:35 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2008, the Cedar River at Waverly is forecast to crest at 15 feet on Saturday evening. This level would be comparable to the flood level of 1993. The river is expected to begin rising sometime Friday morning. Updated information will be provided as it becomes available.

Cedar at Waverly – 10.81 feet, steady (at 11:30 a.m.)
Cedar at Charles City – 18.64 feet, rising (at 11:45 a.m.)
Wapsie (North of Tripoli) – 15.52 feet, steady (11:30 a.m.)
Little Cedar (Ionia) – 10.88 feet, rising (10:45 a.m.)
Shell Rock at Shell Rock – 14.35 feet, rising (11:45 a.m.)
